A Case of Osteochonaroma

Abstract
|
|
|
A case report of sessile type of solitary osteochondroma on the upper and of the left tibia is reported.
The case was 60 years old house-wife who noticed the palpable mass on her left knee just below joint line 30 years previous to initial examination. Even it is on the proximal tibia with protrusion into the knee joint, there was no specific trouble at all on her knee motions except tenderness on it. The mass was about a baby fist size locating on the antero-lateral and superior to the proximal and of left tibia.
The tumor mass was removed surgically including whole cartilage cap and end-result was good.
The histological findings showed typical osteochondroma.
